The Prison is the third Scenario in Paint the Town Red. It was added in Early Access Version 0.3.

The Prison has a total of 73 enemies.

Strategy[]

  • This level's "restricted areas" are the areas past the yellow lines and the Biker Boss's cell.
  • The shotgun is located in the room overlooking the main area, it is on the very top of the shelf alongside a weight.
  • It's best to grab the Shotgun or a taser first.
  • If you hit the solitary button, the boss of the level will come out of it.
  • It is the best option to simply befriend the Solitary Prisoner by throwing a food item (such as an apple) into his cell before he breaks out. Its best you aim the food at him so you will also get him to break the door and have a quick befriended boss to help you .
  • The only way to get a Machete in this level is to kill the Biker Boss.
  • It's possible to befriend the Muscled Prisoners or the Basketball Gang by rescuing one of their members from prisoners holding them at knifepoint.
  • There is a Kitchen Knife located at the right top side of the fridge at the Kitchen
  • A Machete can easily instantly kill the solitary prisoner if he is stabbed in the brain.

Trivia[]

  • South East Games changed the music, instead of josh woodward instead it is a thrash metal and the new fight music in prison is played on the trailer on steam.
  • The music that originally played before the brawl starts is an instrumental version of "Omaha" by Josh Woodward.
    • Another song by Josh Woodward called "Methylchloroisothiazolinone" played during the brawl. The version of this song in-game is it's instrumental version.
  • This is the first level that demonstrates the ability to ally enemies.
  • In the bathroom, you can turn the shower water on and off by interacting with the handles.
  • When playing with the Zero G modifier, the water from the showers in the bathroom will float in random directions.
  • This scenario features weapons and props from Biker Bar and Disco, located in some of the prisoner cells.
  • It is possible to brute force your way past the solitary cell doors before they are opened automatically or with the button.
  • Like the other scenarios, the Prison features a hidden rune carving that will light up red as more enemies die.
