The Katana Boss is the boss of the Disco. He is found on the second floor in his office.

Description

The Katana Boss is the owner of Club Beatdown. He equips a katana when his office is intruded, hence the name. His bones are invincible, making dismemberment impossible. The Katana Boss has the highest health out of every enemy in the game, deals heavy damage, and is immune to brain damage. The Katana Boss uniquely doesn't have the ability to enter rage mode. However, in sandbox mode, if the boss's Katana is hit for a very long time, he will dash at his opponent. At the same time, his face will remain calm. Most likely, no texture was added to it.

In Beneath, the Katana Boss can be found in any of The Construct Scenarios after waiting around 8 minutes, with only whites for eyes. It holds a Laser Katana and a Pursuer's Heart, acting as The Construct's version of the Pursuer. Unlike the Pursuer, however, the Katana Boss, while being able to walk through any object, does not fly and will not kill any enemy he walks through. He is killable without ancient weapons, does not instantly kill the player (doing less damage than the Deceiver or the Crawler), and will drop the Laser Katana when killed. The Katana Boss Pursuer will also turn almost all of The Construct black, except for the area around it. This will make it incredibly difficult to move around, as you would have to wait until the grid flashes to know where to move.

Strategy

• The Katana Boss's room has a Nunchaku and Knife that can be used to take out a portion of his health.
• The Pimp Cane can also be used to damage the Katana Boss considerably.

Trivia

• The Katana Boss is the first enemy to have a movement speed reduction.
• The Katana Boss's appearance is inspired by the Yakuza Boss from the Simpsons.
• In the Construct Disco found in Beneath, the Katana Boss can be seen wearing the Pimp's hat.
